For the state of Ohio that is available at Ohio Online Historical Newspapers Summary.
My updates are semi-annual or annual, depending on how much has been changed. For example, my most recent Ohio update was in December, 2014.
I want to make you aware of a terrific resource for Ohio that can help you.
The state of Ohio has an outstanding resource that is more frequently updated and has some features that can help you hone in on your city or newspaper of choice. And that is Ohio Memory. It provides the historical newspapers for the state available on Chronicling America, as well as the Ohio Memory collection.
You can sort by City, County, Region, Time Period, and "Special Press". You can also search for words in the index to titles. As I mentioned, I am certain that this database is more frequently updated than the articles and lists that I update from time to time.
Furthermore, in their FAQ section, you can download an Excel file that has a list (and links) of other newspapers from the state not available through Chronicling America or Ohio Memory. In total there are about 370 titles available for online research.
There are also lots of other useful resources on this site besides old newspapers. I heartily encourage you to make use of this wonderful site.
