In October, 2017, I began researching and collecting alternative means to searching newspapers to find obituaries. The result was the new Obituaries! Page on The Ancestor Hunt. Listed by state or province - there were 675 obituary site links from the U.S. and Canada that could be accessed and searched in order to find those elusive obits.

I have just completed some more research and have added over 450 NEW obituary and index links. There now is a total of over 1,010 links to free online obituary and obituary index sites available.
