I, as a family storyteller, not a genealogist, do not completely agree with the requirement to include citations at the end of blog posts. Regardless of the academic processes that some professional genealogists intend to require hobbyists to follow, I do not see that blog posts of primarily family stories should undergo the same rigor as an academic journal or other professional publications. But that is my opinion. Feel free to disagree. I don't want to restart this conversation - only want to have some fun with it.
So if you are a professional genealogist and have a sense of humor, I hope that you will enjoy and laugh at the following. If you are a sanctimonious academic and think it is not funny or ultra-critical, please examine the stick that you are sitting on and report back with the degree of pain that you are feeling (with a sourced and cited, fully detailed medical report of course).
